Hajduk Split v Potters preview

Stoke boss Tony Pulis hopes to have winger Matthew Etherington available for Thursday's against Hajduk Split.

Etherington sustained a cracked rib in the first leg at the Britannia Stadium last Thursday - which the Potters won 1-0 - and missed a friendly at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but has since returned to training.

Jermaine Pennant, recently troubled by a thigh problem, is also expected to feature in the clash at Stadion Poljud, while Jonathan Woodgate could make his competitive debut after completing 45 minutes of the match at the weekend.
