England hitman Carlton Cole is reportedly at the Britannia Stadium, holding talks over a record breaking transfer to the Potters.
West Ham man Cole has already been to the Brit already for initial discussions but the deal went quiet after those initial talks.
The Hammers have previously stated that Cole will not be sold for less than £12m, even though he is available for transfer, yet Tony Pulis and Peter Coates have insisted the club will not be paying that much for any player this summer.
Numerous sources have this afternoon indicated that the former Chelsea man, described by Claudio Ranieri as the most gifted player he had ever worked with, is at the Brit and set to seal a deal to sign for the Potters in time for the pre-season tour to Austria.
