Eidur Gudjohnsen would love to make his loan spell at Fulham a permanent arrangement.

Gudjohnsen arrived at Craven Cottage in January after an unsuccessful five-month stint at Stoke.

The former Bolton and Chelsea forward is only due to play for the Cottagers until the end of the season but he has not ruled out extending his stay.

'I had been having a difficult time at Stoke, but this club has been a breath of fresh air for me,' he said.

'I know it's not a permanent deal, but I'm here to show what I can do.

'Who knows what will happen in the summer? I'm 32, physically fit, injury free and hungry to do well. I believe I have still got a lot to give.

'The set-up here is fantastic, the training is great and I'm determined to get playing again and help Fulham as much as I can.'
