Duberry - Ban the coin throwers

Duberry said: "As I was getting treatment I heard one of the other lads tell the referee about a coin. I didn't see that one, but I saw the second, which landed near my feet. Then, as I picked it up to show the ref, I think another one came over. Luckily, none hit me, but they could have taken my eye out or left a nasty head injury.

"I can take verbal abuse all day as long as it isn't racist, but coin throwing is different territory.

"I'm just a guy trying to kick a ball around the field and I don't deserve that. We have the privilege of representing our clubs, but these fans are also representing their clubs too.

"I just hope they can single someone out. And if the cameras can't spot him, surely someone standing to the left or right of this guy must have seen him throw something and should come forward."
