Deon Burton Joins Stoke on loan

Gudjon Thordarson and John Rudge have secured Premiership Deon Burton on loan from Derby County. Deon hasn't been in the first team much at Pride Park and has agreed to the loan spell at the Britannia Stadium.

He is more than likely to start this saturday as Stoke take on Reading.

Striker Deon Burton is joining Second Division side Stoke City on loan.
The 25-year-old Jamaica international has scored three goals so far this season, making his last Premiership start against Ipswich in January.
He appeared as a substitute against Sunderland at Pride Park earlier this month.
Burton joined the Rams from Portsmouth in August 1997 for £1-million.
He'll spend a month with Gudjon Thordarson's Britannia Stadium side as they attempt to cement their position in the promotion play-off spots.
