Sonko is available on a free transfer after leaving Stoke earlier this summer and a number of clubs are thought to be keen on signing the 30-year-old.

PAOK are thought to have made a lucrative offer to lure Sonko to Greece as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season's campaign in the Europa League.

However, Sonko has snubbed their overtures as he is keen to continue his career in England.

Sonko's agent, Gary Saunders, has confirmed the former Reading stopper is hoping to find himself a new club in England.

"Ibrahima had an offer from PAOK in Greece, but he has decided to reject it as he wants to stay in England," Saunders told skysports.com.

"It was a lucrative offer, but Ibrahima believes he has unfinished business in England.

"He believes he still has a lot to offer and we will see what offers come our way."
