City pushing Season Ticket Sales

"We are aiming to improve on last season," he told the sentinel, "because we are keeping season tickets ridiculously cheap.

"We are increasing them somewhat from last year, but we believe they are great value when you compare them to other clubs in the Championship, even some at a lower level.

"I'm hoping most current season-ticket holders will remain with us - and in addition we are expecting some new supporters to sign up now we have proved we have a team who are genuine play-off contenders, at least."

"Last year was a unique situation because we were getting people to subscribe to the idea of being a season-ticket holder," the chairman continued.

"Everyone realised and appreciated last year was special. But the price rises here are only slight and probably less than most people expected."

Season Tickets for only £30 higher than last season's 'radical' pricing are on sale from April 1st - April 15th.
