Cameron Deal Not Dead Yet Hope Houston

Cameron himself hopes that the deal will go through after setting his heart on a move to the English Premiership.

The two parties are about £600,000 apart in agreeing a deal with Stoke offering £1.2 million and the Americans wanting £1.8 million.

All deals have to go through the MLS who own the rights to all the players, so Houston must wait to see if Stoke up their offer.

"I think(Monday is a key day in determining whether or not the transfer is going to happen or not," Canetti said in the Houston Chronicle.

"We had a positive weekend where there were good discussions and both sides kind of understood what it's going to take to make a deal happen.

"We will share proposals and see if we can get closer to a deal."
