Bolton boss Owen Coyle is hopeful Kevin Davies will be fit for to take on the Potters.

Wanderers skipper Davies picked up a knock to his ankle while on international duty with England earlier this week.

Andy O'Brien (hamstring) and Joey O'Brien (knee) are still receiving treatment, while Ricardo Gardner, Jlloyd Samuel and Sean Davis also remain sidelined.

Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen faces a fitness test ahead of the game but he expects to recover in time from the muscle tear in the area around his hip he suffered while on Denmark duty.

Andy Wilkinson is available after recovering from a knee problem, meaning Tony Pulis has a full-strength squad to pick from other than long-term absentee Mama Sidibe.
