Arnar joined the potters after falling out of favour at Leicester under manager Dave Bassett which some Fox Fans disagreed with. One Fox said "I don't know why he hasn't been played because he's the only player who can create in our team".

After helping Stoke to promotion, Arnar has decided that he would like to play in the first division next season with Stoke and help them push for the Premiership.

He told TeamTalk: "I would love to be part of Stoke City next season. The club has massive potential and is heading into the First Division not just to make up the numbers.

"Winning promotion is a great relief and Stoke deserve to be in the Premiership."
