6 years ago today: Asaba moves to Millwall

Asaba had a strong start with the potters after joining Stoke under Tony Pulis 2 years ago, but ended up only scoring 10 goals for the club and has since fell out of favour.

Where his original skills and confidence went is a topic on the minds of some stoke supporters, but the situation seemed to draw to a close with Asaba not wanting to play at Stoke and a move to Coventry was arranged.

However this fell through when Gunnar Gislasson decided he wanted a fee for the striker.

He is now finally to be released for Millwall where he can get himself back into first team action. He is expected to partner Barry Hayles in the lions attack following Bob Peeters release last week
