Leeds v Stoke Preview

In what has been a busy two week period for Stoke, things finally started to happen off the field for Tony Pulis and his team.

The majority of the squad shot off to Exmouth to the Marine camp for a team building week while three of the squad in Hoefkens, Fuller & Mama went away on international duty.

With the signing of Lee Hendrie the day before the Preston game, we now find ourselves with another two players wearing the red and white of Stoke in the shape of Rory Delap from Sunderland, and Salif Diao (left) from Liverpool, both on loans and we are hoping to tie these up on contracts in the January window if they like it here.

Much wrist slashing is still going on around the various forums, but we are of a firm belief that things are starting to look up in this little piece of England.

Stoke need to start building up their points tally and this can be easily attainable at Elland Road where the realities of the real world are starting to hit home. No Manager, Struggling near the foot of the table and with no light in sight. and we thought we had it bad.

Barring any major surprises we fully expect Rory Delap (left) to start at right back while Carl Hoefkens retains his place in the starting eleven at Right Midfield.

The starting line-up is below.
