Away Day Review - White Hart Lane- 9/4/11

Journey

We made our journey to and from The Lane on the train , the one there being a long slow , about 3 hour one , and the return one being a quick one and a half one which had the first team squad on , so overall i give travel a 8/10

Parking

Obviously doesnt apply to me with me going on the train , but i didnt seem to see too many carparks when walking around the Ground area , and the ones i did see were quite dear , so if i were to rate parking it would be given a average 5/10

Atmosphere

Ive been to a majority of the PL grounds and id say spurs id one of the best for atmosphere . When the home fans get " O Wen The Spurs" going , they really get White Hart Lane rocking . The travelling Potters fans also gave a great account of themselves , and the excitement of a Wembley appearance had them in high spirits. 9/10

Pies And Pints

Prematch we went to the Elmhurst on Lordship Lane around the corner from the ground where the beer was decent , but in the ground the attempt to buy a beer at half time didnt go well as they had ran out. 7/10

Performance And Result

At 2-0 Midway through the first half i was more thinking about how many we were gonna go down by , but against the odds Stoke twice got themselves back into it and certainly gave the 1 Thousand or so traveling Stokies something to shout about , Good to see 2 goals from open play , a great run and finish from Etherington followed by a Great Jones hit from well outside the box , and you dont see Stoke hit it from there very often. 9/10
