Date of Birth: 23rd August 1992

Position: Left back, Left wing

Club: Portsmouth

Previous clubs: Hamburg, St. Pauli, Arsenal

International appearances: Germany U16 3(0)

Attack minded full back who has already been on the books of some of Europes top sides.

The defender, who is German by country of birth, with Ghanain parents, started out at German giants Hamburg before moving onto the city of Hamburg's other side St. Pauli when he was 14.

He moved to England aged 15, joining Arsenal, but after a brief spell at the Emirates he signed for Portsmouth after deciding he would be better served at a lesser club where he could force his way into the first team quicker.

The move worked out as planned and he made his debut in the Portmouth team for this seasons Carling Cup tie against Carlisle whilst he has also been an unused substitute in games against Coventry and Sunderland.

He would almost certainly have been loaned out this season had it not been for the crisis that surrounds Pompey and the fact he has been one injury away from a first team place for most of the season.

He will have some interesting months ahead as he will be highly sought after when out of contract in the summer yet he may decide that he'd be better off at Fratton Park where he could well be thrust into the first XI and given an extended run in the first team, at what is sure to be Championship level.
