                                                            Lowe

Name: Jason Lowe

Date of Birth: 2nd September 1991

Position: Centre Midfield

Club: Blackburn

Skillful central midfielder, and one that the Ewood Park management have high hopes for.

After signing for Rovers he went straight into the Under 18 side at the start of the 2008/9 season. He went on to make 25 academy appearances, aswell as breaking into the reserve side at the end of the season, netting twice, including on debut against Hull, in six reserve appearances.

Joined up with the full squad for the pre-season campaign and made his full debut for Rovers against Dundee United in August's pre-season friendly.

Lowe then signed his first professional contract in September 2009 and has only appeared once for the academy in the league this season as Rovers use him in their reserve squad and try out other players in the reserve set up. He was brought in for the FA Youth Cup 5th round tie at the end of January and netted a brace to put out Manchester United, two well timed runs allowing him to finish off the Red Devils.

Lowe has been linked with Chester and Bury for a loan spell and it is likely he will be leaving on loan as the season comes towards a conclusion although a call up to the Rovers first team is not out of the picture.
