Betting Preview - Stoke v Brighton

Last updated : 18 February 2011 By Dan Buxton

Stoke City will look to carry on their good FA Cup run with a home win this afternoon.

The hosts are favourites at 7/10 with bwin whilst the visitors are outsiders at 9/2 with PaddyPower for the game whilst a draw is available at 5/2 with VictorChandler.

Stoke will hope to get a fourth home win of the year and book a quarter final spot. A thrilling 3-2 home win is available at 25/1 with Bwin, Bet365 and VictorChandler. A comfortable 2-0 home win, to see City progress with ease, is available at 13/2 with VictorChandler and Bet365.

Brighton will be hoping to continue their own great cup run, they have already won four ties, three away from home, so may be confident of a win against City and 1-0 would do the visitors just nicely. That score is available at 12's with Bet365. Seven of the Potters games this season have ended 2-1 so 16's with Coral, PaddyPower and Bet365 for a 2-1 Albion win could turn out to be a good bet.

Kenwyne Jones is the Potters joint top scorer and on his day is unplayable and is 9/2 with Bet365 to open the scoring whilst Ricardo Fuller will be looking to remind boss Pulis of his ability after quite a while out of the side and is also 5/1 with Bet365 to score first. In form defender Robert Huth has already netted seven times this season and can be backed at 16's, with Bet365, to break the deadlock.

Brighton are top of League One and a lot of that is down to striker Ashley Barnes. The hitman is 8's with Bet365 to break the deadlock, whilst strike partner, on loan Chris Wood, is 17/2 with bet365 to net first.
