Betting Preview - Blackburn v Stoke

Last updated : 25 December 2010 By Dan Buxton

Stoke City will look to earn a second away win in three games when they travel to Blackburn in tomorrows big game.

The hosts are favourites at 11/8 with VictorChandler and BlueSQ whilst the visitors are outsiders at 12/5 with BetFred and StanJames for the game whilst a draw is available at 12/5 with BetFred.

Stoke will hope to repeat the recent away win against West Brom to rise further up the table. A repeat of that 3-0 away win is available at 66/1 with BlueSQ. All but two of the Potters league wins this season have been by a one goal margin. A 2-1 win, to keep that run going, is available at 12's with StanJames.

Blackburn will be hoping put aside recent controversy with a win against City and 1-0 would do the hosts just nicely. That score is available at 7's with VictorChandler, StanJames and Coral. Six of the Potters games this season have ended 2-1 so 9/1 with 32Red for a 2-1 Rovers win could turn out to be a good bet.

Kenwyne Jones is the Potters top scorer and on his day is unplayable and is 15/2 with Coral to open the scoring whilst Ricardo Fuller has two in four and looks set to start up front and is 8/1 with Coral to score first. In form winger Matthew Etherington has netted thrice in four games and can be backed at 13's, with Unibet, to break the deadlock.

Blackburn are under pressure and ravaged by injuries and fans favourite David Dunn should be available and is 9's with BlueSQ to break the deadlock, whilst Benjani will  be hoping for an upturn in form and is 8/1 with Coral to net first.
