Betting Preview - Birmingham v Stoke

Last updated : 11 February 2011 By Dan Buxton

Stoke City will look to earn a second away win in three games when they travel to Birmingham in tomorrows big game.

The hosts are favourites at 6/4 with Bet365, WilliamHill and Boylesport whilst the visitors are outsiders at 21/10 with PaddyPower for the game whilst a draw is available at 9/4 with BlueSQ and SkyBet.

Stoke will hope to repeat the win at Wolves thirteen days ago to rise further up the table. A repeat of that 1-0 away win is available at 15/2 with Coral, Boylesports and Bet365. Quite a few of the Potters league wins this season have been by more than a one goal margin. A 2-0 win, to add to that total, is available at 14's with Coral and William Hill.

Birmingham will be hoping to keep their recovery going with a win against City and 1-0 would do the hosts just nicely. That score is available at 7's with StanJames. Six of the Potters games this season have ended 2-1 so 19/2 with UniBet for a 2-1 Brum win could turn out to be a good bet.

Robert Huth is the Potters top scorer and netted twice last weekend and is 20's with PaddyPower, Blu eSQand Bet365 to open the scoring whilst John Carew is looking promising and looks set to start up front and is 7/1 with Bet365 and SkyBet to score first. In form winger Matthew Etherington has netted four times recently and can be backed at 14's, with PaddyPower, to break the deadlock.

Birmingham are looking forward to a Caling Cup final in two weeks and striker Cameron Jerome averages a goal a game against Stoke and is 7/1 with BlueSQ and SkyBet to break the deadlock, whilst loanee David Bentley will be hoping to inspire victory and is available at 16's with PaddyPower to net first.
