Betting Preview - Arsenal v Stoke

Last updated : 22 February 2011 By Dan Buxton

Stoke City will look to earn a third away win in 2011 when they travel to Arsenal in tomorrows big game.

The hosts are massive favourites at 3/10 with most bookies whilst the visitors are outsiders at 12's with BetFred for the game whilst a draw is available at 9/2 with StanJames and VictorChandler.

Stoke will hope to repeat the win at Wolves three weeks ago to rise further up the table. A repeat of that 1-0 away win is available at 28/1 with Coral. Quite a few of the Potters league wins this season have been by more than a one goal margin. A 2-0 win, to add to that total, is available at 80's with PaddyPower.

Arsenal will be hoping to keep their title bid going with a win against City and 1-0 would do the hosts just nicely. That score is available at 7's with StanJames, Coral and WilliamHill. Six of the Potters games this season have ended 2-1 so 17/2 with SkyBet for a 2-1 Gunners win could turn out to be a good bet.

Robert Huth is the Potters top scorer and netted twice in the recent win against Sunderland and is 33's with Bet365 to open the scoring whilst John Carew is looking promising and looks set to start up front and is 14/1 with PaddyPower to score first. In form winger Matthew Etherington may be struggling with injury but has netted four times recently and can be backed at 25's, with PaddyPower, to break the deadlock.

Arsenal are looking forward to a Caling Cup final in four days time and striker Robin Van Persie has been crucial to their recent success and is 10/3 with Bet365 to break the deadlock, whilst talismanic captain Cesc Fabregas will be hoping to inspire victory and is available at 11/2 with most bookies to net first.
