Last updated : 12 February 2010 By Dan Buxton

Stoke go into this cup clash on the back of a great run as they look to make it eight games unbeaten. Man City are flying, sitting just outside fourth in the Premier League and with games in hand.

The Potters are, as expectedly, majorly outsiders for the game and are available a massive 15/2 with SkyBet. Man City can be backed at 8/15 with Coral. The draw is 16/5 with Boylesports.

Stoke will be hoping to grab another big name scalp and 1-0 is available at 18's with BlueSQ. The Potters may go 4-3-3 and this could spark a goal frenzy, 3-2 to Stoke is 80/1 with SkyBet and BlueSQ. The Potters have been conceding goals quite often lately so a clean sheet may not be coming and Victor Chandler offer 28/1 on a 2-1 Stoke win.

Man City are playing good clinical football and they overcame Scunthorpe in the last round, winning 4-2. That scoreline is 66/1 with SkyBet and BlueSQ. The last time Stoke travelled to Eastlands was on Boxing Day and that game ended 2-0 to the hosts and BlueSQ and Ladbrokes offer 6's on a repeat o that. Both sides will want to settle it on the night and a high scoring draw may well be on the cards, 3-3 is a huge 100/1 with SportingBet and SkyBet.

City will be hoping that the recent positive performance against Blackburn and Arsenal can be repeated and both Ricardo Fuller, who opened the scoring against Arsenal in the last round, at 10's with PaddyPower and BlueSQ to open the scoring, and Matthew Etherington, 25's with Coral to net first, will be hoping to carry on their goalscoring form. Ryan Shawcross will be making his 100th Potters appearance and is 28/1 with Ladbrokes to break the deadlock.

Carlos Tevez is in blidtering form and is 4's with Bet365, Coral and BlueSQ to open the scoring whilst Welsh Wizard Craig Bellamy is at 6/1 with Coral to net first. Stephen Ireland is enjoying his football again and is 10/1 with BetFred and Ladbrokes to score the opener.
