Betting Guide - West Ham v Stoke City

Last updated : 04 March 2011 By Dan Buxton

Stoke City will look to earn a third away win in 2011 when they travel to West Ham in tomorrows big game.

The hosts are favourites at 5/4 with most bookies whilst the draw is 12/5 with BetFred, whilst an away win is available at 5/2 with Coral and VictorChandler.

Stoke will hope to repeat the win at Wolves a month ago, and the win away at West Ham last season, to rise further away from the relegation battle. A repeat of those 1-0 away victories is available at 17/2 with Coral and SkyBet. Quite a few of the Potters league wins this season have been by more than a one goal margin. A 2-0 win, to add to that total, is available at 18's with Coral.

West Ham will be hoping to keep their revival going with a win against City and 1-0 would do the hosts just nicely. That score is available at 7's with StanJames. Six of the Potters games this season have ended 2-1 so 35/4 with UniBet for a 2-1 Hammers win could turn out to be a good bet.

Robert Huth is the Potters top scorer and netted twice in the recent win against Sunderland and is 21's with UniBet to open the scoring whilst John Carew has started his Potters career promisingly and looks set to start up front and is 29/4 with UniBet to score first. In form winger Jermaine Pennant has yet to score for the Potters but has struck the woodwork on no less than four occasions and can be backed at 25's, with UniBet, to break the deadlock.

West Ham are looking to moving out of the relegation zone and striker Demba Ba has been crucial to their recent success and is 13/2 with BetFred to break the deadlock, whilst talismanic captain Scott Parker will be hoping to inspire victory and is available at 17's with UniBet to net first.
