Best Odds - Stoke v Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Last updated : 19 October 2011 By Dan Buxton

Stoke City will look to get their second victory of the group stages of the Europa League in Thursdays nights big game.

The hosts are favourites at 1/2 with Boylesports, BlueSQ and Ladbrokes, the draw is 17/5 with VictorChandler, whilst an away win is available at 8's with VictorChandler.

Stoke will hope to repeat the performance against Hajduk Split, Besiktas and Thun in this seasons European home games, when City triumphed 1-0, 2-1 and 4-1. A repeat of the 1-0 win over Split is available at 11/2 with Bet365, BlueSQ, WilliamHill and Ladbrokes. Quite a few of the Potters wins last season were by more than one goal. A 3-0 win, to comfortably keep City top of the group, is available at 10's with Ladbrokes.

Tel-Aviv will be hoping to get their first group stage win and 1-0 would do the visitors just nicely. That score is available at 17/1 with PaddyPower. Seven of the Potters games last season ended 2-1 so 22's with Coral, VictorChandler, Bet365 and Boylesports for a 2-1 Israeli win, that would keep the visitors hopes of progressing alive, could turn out to be a good bet.

Robert Huth is a regular Potters scorer and is 16's with Ladbrokes to open the scoring this week with what would be his opening goal of the season whilst Cameron Jerome has already netted in one of the Potters previous Europa League group game. The £4m man is 11/2 with most bookies to score first and make it two in three in European competition. Winger Jermaine Pennant started scoring towards the end of last season and is due a goal again after a promising performance against Fulham last Saturday. He can be backed at 20's, with Ladbrokes, to break the deadlock.

Eliran Atar has five in five in this season's Europa League but none in the group stages. The striker is 11's with BlueSQ and VictorChandler to break his group stage duck by opening the scoring.
