Best Odds - Norwich v Stoke

Last updated : 19 August 2011 By Dan Buxton

Stoke City will look to pick up their first win of the Premier League campaign against Norwich in this weekends big game.

The hosts are favourites at 13/8 with BetFred, the draw is 23/10 with most bookies, whilst an away win is available at 19/10 with SkyBet.

Stoke will hope to repeat the performance against Norwich last time the teams met when City ran out 1-0 winners. A repeat of that scoreline is available at 8's with StanJames and Bwin. Quite a few of the Potters wins last season were by more than one goal. A 2-0 win, to kick off this seasons away games, is available at 16's with StanJames.

Norwich will be hoping to get off to a positive start as top flight football returns to Carrow Road with a win against City, and 1-0 would do the hosts just nicely. That score is available at 15/2 with Bwin. Seven of the Potters games last season ended 2-1 so 9's with Bet365, WilliamHill and Bwin for a 2-1 Canaries win could turn out to be a good bet.

Robert Huth is a regular Potters scorer and is 18's with VictorChandler to open the scoring again this week whilst Jon Walters has already netted in the Potters Europa League tie and used to play for Norwich arch rivals Ipswich. The Irishman is 19/2 with UniBet to score first. Winger Jermaine Pennant started scoring towards the end of last season. He can be backed at 20's, with Coral, to break the deadlock.

Norwich started the season with a 1-1 draw at Wigan, Wes Hoolahan netting the equaliser for the Canaries. The winger is 13's with UniBet to break the deadlock, whilst former Potter Richie De Laet will be hoping to show the Potters what they missed and is available at 40's with VictorChandler to net first.
