Best Odds - Arsenal v Stoke

Last updated : 21 October 2011 By Dan Buxton

Stoke City will look to keep their fine start to the season going and make it just two defeats in seventeen games this term.

The hosts are favourites at 7/12 with 188bet, the draw is 10/3 with BetFred and SkyBet, whilst an away win is available at 6's with VictorChandler, WilliamHill, SkyBet, BetFred and totesport.

Stoke will hope to get a rare away win at Arsenal and have won 1-0 in three out of seven away games this season. A repeat of that scoreline is available at 17's with UniBet. Quite a few of the Potters wins last season were by more than one goal. A 2-0 win is available at 40's with BetFred.

Arsenal will be hoping to finally get themselves in the top six this season with a win against City, and 1-0 would do the hosts just nicely. That score is available at 13/2 with WilliamHill. Seven of the Potters games last season ended 2-1 so 15/2 with 188Bet for a 2-1 Gunners win could turn out to be a good bet.

Peter Crouch is fast becoming a Potters favourite and is 11's with UniBet to open the scoring this week whilst, like Crouch, Jon Walters was rested in midweek so could be fresh for this game. The Irishman is 23/2 with UniBet to score first. Winger Jermaine Pennant was another rested in midweek and is returning to his former club. He can be backed at 25's, with SkyBet and WilliamHill, to break the deadlock.

Arsenal started the season really poorly but have come into form lately, mainly thanks to the form of Robin Van Persie. The striker is 7/2 with most bookies to break the deadlock on Sunday, whilst Theo Walcott will be hoping to get his name on the scoresheet and is available at 15/2 with most bookmakers to net first.
