Thanks to Dan and the Stoke lads for making the short journey to South Cheshire for this game. I walked out of the changing rooms and could not believe how many players Stoke had on the pitch warming up!!! A great effort for a new team. Stoke started really well and has on the back foot from the start but we gradually got a foot hold in the game and putting more and more pressure on the Stoke goal throughout the second half especially, without finding that final touch to make the difference.
We are already looking forward to returning the game at the end of November.
