5-a-side Preview: v The Young Uns

Last updated : 08 May 2010 By Dan Buxton

Hardly Athletic will be hoping to keep alive their ever increasing promotion hopes when they play The Young Uns at Fenton Manor tonight.

Hardly are sitting fourth in the league and just five points off a promotion spot with five games left. The Young Uns have gone way off the boil lately, losing their last five games after an impressive start, which included 9-0 and 12-0 wins aswell as a 4-1 win over Hardly.

There are no changes from the seven who were available for last week's game with Joe Gordon again unavailable as he cycles back from France after his charity bike ride, with Dan Buxton ready to don the gloves. Dan Middleton is the other absentee as he continues to struggle with a knee injury.

The Young Uns are struggling in 6th place in the league, whilst Hardly are one point, but two places, better off and hoping to boost their promotion hopes with three points.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm and the seven players chosen to compete this week are:

Chris Cope

Dan Buxton

Matthew Peart

Andy McEvoy

Matthew Carter

Ash Newman

Dan Hallam
