5-a-side Preview: v The Red Arrows

Hardly Athletic will be hoping to get a morale boosting victory as the end of the season draws in.

Hardly are sitting fifth in the league but saw their promotion hopes ended last time out when they were narrowly beaten by Pathetic Athletic. Red Arrows sit just ahead of Hardly in the table but also have nothing to play for after seeing their hopes of a top two promotion spot ended by Pathetics victory over Hardly.

The sides first league game was given as a walkover to Hardly as Arrows couldn't get a team together, although the pair did play a hastily arranged friendly, a game that ended 4-4 with Chris Cope netting a late penalty.

Last weeks Man of the Match, and current player of the year standings leader, Joe Gordon is, along with Dan Hallam, unavailable due to work commitments with Dan Middleton again absent as he continues to struggle with a knee injury. Matt Carter completes his two game ban after his red card a fortnight ago.

The game kicks off at 7.05pm and the five players chosen to compete this week are:

Chris Cope

Dan Buxton

Matthew Peart

Andy McEvoy

Ash Newman
