Hardly Athletic are preparing for a crunch basement battle with Port Vale DFC tonight as they aim to pick up a first win of the season.
DFC are second from bottom of the league, with only Hardly beneath them and both sides now a victory is crucial if they are to keep alive their slim hopes to troubling the teams at the top this season.
Hardly have mass changes once again this week as Matthew Young, Matthew Peart, Lee Matthews and Paul Dale are all unavailable with recalls for Dan Buxton, Chris Cope and Joe Gordon, aswell as a debut for striker Scott Salmon and a season debut for Dan Middleton, making up the sides seven players.
