Hardly Athletic will be hoping to end a run of three straight cup defeats when they take on Abbey Hulton Utd at Fenton Manor tonight. Hardly were narrowly beaten in the last league game they played, a first league defeat since January, when they went down by five goals to three against league leaders Eaton Park. Last week they drew 4-4 with The Red Arrows after a mix up with times saw the league game called off. The same seven who played last week's game against Eaton Park will play again this week, with Dan Middleton still sidelined with a knee injury, and Dan Buxton returns after a back injury.
