Hardly Athletic went down to Premier League side Inter by four goals to two, after an entertaining game at Fenton Manor.

With Dan Buxton, Dan Hallam and Dan Middleton unavailable Hardly called upon Joe Gordon to try and help Hardly secure the points needed to keep alive their finals day hopes.

Hardly were thankful to keeper Paul Dale, who pulled out some fantastic saves that had both sets of players applauding but he couldn't stop Inter pulling into a 3-0 half time lead.

Athletic hit back in the second half and Cope pulled a goal back to give Hardly hope but a fourth goal, hit on the break, sealed the win and although Matt Young pulled a goal back late on Hardly had to accept defeat.
