Left back and Target man both received a small amount of votes and the top three were as follows:

3) Striker - 21.2% - The Potters had goalscoring problems through last season and 21.7% of the voters believe that it was the man up top at fault for that, deciding that a new goalscoring striker is what the Potters need more than anything this summer.

2) Right Winger - 22.7% - With Liam Lawrence set to depart that would leave make shift wingers Delap and Whitehead and teenager Marshall as the only possible options. A right winger seems to be an absolute must

1) Creative Midfielder - 37.9% - With the lack of supply from the midfield this season it led to us being 19th out of 20 in the goalscoring stakes. The votes indicate that the current midfield crop, inparticular Glenn Whelan, aren't inventive enough
