Poll Result: MOTM v Tottenham

City pulled off a fantastic display to secure only their second ever win at White Hart Lane and here are the results of who you voted Man of the Match.

Of the 13 players used by Stoke, ten received at least one vote as the results showed just how much of a team effort it was to get the three points.

The backline defended resolutely but all four just missed out on a podium finish as A.D. Faye(5.5%), Collins(4.1%), Shawcross(4.1%) and Wilkinson(2.7%) impressed enough to finish 4th-7th.

The top 3 are as follows:

3) Matthew Etherington - 8.2% - Winger relieved pressure from the defence with terrific runs. Looked dangerous and is at the top of his game right now

2) Salif Diao - 26.0% - Another commanding display in the centre of the midfield. Legs just seem to extend and stop the ball whenever he wants. Heart in mouth moment with that injury time tackle in the penalty area but ref gave him the benefit of the doubt

1) Steve Simonsen - 37.0% - Came in minutes before kick off and he was fantastic. Save after save to keep the scores level before the late winner. Can hold his head high
