Poll Result: Man of the Match v Wigan(H)

Last updated : 25 May 2011 By Dan Buxton

The Potters finished the season with a disappointing defeat that saw them drop to 13th in the table. A promising first half display was replaced by a more lacklustre effort after the interval.

Poll results below:

1) Glenn Whelan - 54.2% - Gave a fantastic display, controlling the midfield and the opening 45 was possibly the best half by a Stoke centre mid all season

2) Danny Collins - 7.2% - Stepped in for Huth and did well, kept the opposition relatively quiet

3=) Matthew Etherington - 6.0% - Winger was somewhat near his best after recent injury as he twisted and turned the full back inside out

3=) Kenwyne Jones - 6.0% - Big hitman hekd the ball up well and was also denied twice off the line whilst his header was flicked in by an offside Walters when possibly heading in anyway

3=) Jon Walters - 6.0% - Had a poachers goal disallowed early on and, although he wasn't on top form, he was still a danger for most of the game. Kept the Latics on their toes

6) Marc Wilson - 4.8%

7=) Ryan Shawcross - 3.6%

7=) Andy Wilkinson - 3.6%

7=) Jermaine Pennant - 3.6%

10=) Asmir Begovic - 2.4%

10=) Rory Delap - 2.4%
