Well a fantastic away win at Upton Park made for a happy weekend for the Potters, briefly taking us back into the top half, but who took away the Boothen Roars Man of the Match award. Of the 14 players used only one, Mama Sidibe, failed to get a vote but there were four who pulled away from the pack.

Dany Higginbotham narrowly missed out on a podium finish but the top 3 are as follows:

3) Matthew Etherington - 17.2% - Winger was suffering from an upset stomach but still tormented the full backs and made his mark, proving to be a valuable asset even in illness

2) Robert Huth - 18.8% - Was solid as ever and switched inside when Faye went off with ease. Was always in the right place at the right time and kept the Hammers at bay

1) Ricardo Fuller - 25.0% - Came off the bench to score the games only goal, with hi first touch, with a a superb piece of skill, a goal that has been in all this weekends various online polls as goal of the weekend but ran the defence ragged from the moment he stepped onto the field

*The result leaves Matthew Etherington still well ahead at the top of the table but Ricardo Fuller is now 2nd, leaping above Thomas Sorenson, and there are just 17 players who can now win the Player of the Season award.
