The Potters were defeated on Saturday, despite scoring a late equaliser, that wasn't given by referee Chris Foy, and gave a great second half performance, pinning the visitors back for long periods.
The Man of the Match poll result is as follows:
1) Jon Walters - 51.9% - Fantastic debut from the £2.75m signing as he led the line brilliantly and then, after moving out wide, showed he is just as good on the right and should be a terrific signing for the Potters
2) Tuncay - 20.3% - Came on as a substitute and took the game up a level, upping the tempo and helping the Potters create numerous chances. Should have scored at least once though and will be kicking himself for missing a couple of sitters.
3) Matthew Etherington - 7.6% - Winger carried the ball forward well, looked to pass it off and usually found a teammate. Tracked back well but maybe could have take his man on a little more. Still regaining full fitness
4) Ricardo Fuller - 5.1%
5) Dean Whitehead - 3.8%
6) Thomas Sorensen - 2.5%
