The Potters made a few changes to their line up but were unable to defeat Championship side Cardiff, drawing 1-1 at the Britannia Stadium.

3) Ryan Shotton - 11.6% - Defender looked solid on his first appearance of the season, and his home debut, as he doninated his winger, got forward where possible, was comfortable on the ball and showed the fans that Rory isn't the only one who can sling in a long throw
