The Potters huffed and puffed on Wednesday night but just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net after conceding early on from a corner.

1) Dean Whitehead - 26.1% - Fantastic preformance against much bigger names in the Arsenal midfield as 'Deano' got stuck in, kept the ball well and as always showed a great engine to never stop running
2) Jon Walters - 21.6% - Ran his socks off, never stopped pressurising the home defence. Played out on the left and up front and just gets on with his job. Good in the air aswell as on the deck
3) John Carew - 15.3% - Was horribly isolated for the first half an hour but still won everything in the air. Got more support as the game went on and was able to be the base for the Potters attacks. Unlucky with a 35 yard screamer in the first half that the keeper saved at full stretch
4) Glenn Whelan - 13.5%
5) Jermaine Pennant - 7.2%
6) Ryan Shawcross - 4.5%
