Poll Result: Man of the Match v Tottenham

Last updated : 26 March 2010 By Dan Buxton

Well a controversial sending off and a narrow defeat to Tottenham meant that their would on paper be no clear winner and although two pulled well away from the field, the result was still alive until the end.

Only the sent off Whitehead, keeper Sorenson and defender Higginbotham failed to get a vote but were still only three votes off 3rd place. The top 3 were as follows:

3=) Danny Collins - 4.4% - Defender showed another improvement in his game and is looking more and more colid with every outing lately

3=) Robert Huth - 4.4% - Right back was steady and although he isn't as comfortable out at right back he still nullified a lot of the danger from the left wing, where he came up against an in form Bale.

2) Matthew Etherington - 35.2% - Winger netted the penalty and also gave the full backs problems throughout as he yet again shouldered the burden of creating the Potters chances

1) David Kitson - 40.7% - Striker made his mark on his return to the starting line up, putting in 100% effort and making a nuisance of himself. Linked up the midfield and attack well and was dominant both in the air and on the deck.
