Poll Result: Man of the Match v Chelsea

Last updated : 28 April 2010 By Dan Buxton

It wasn't a good day to say the least, but someone still has to be voted Man of the Match and there weren't too many candidate, as you'd expect after a 7-0 drubbing. The top 3 were as follows:

3) Danny Higginbotham - 12.8% - Put his body on the line in vain attempt to keeo the score respectable. One of the few committed ones

2) Ricardo Fuller - 15.4% - Pacey striker started well and caused problems when he got the ball. Lack of support and service was his downfall though as teammates just weren't interested

1) Asmir Begovic - 30.8% - Keeper came on as a sub, conceded five goals and wins Man of the Match, says something about the other players! Well he did make a couple of smart saves and is pretty much exempt from blame for any of the goals as the defence, especially Danny Collins just left him to it

*This result means that Matthew Etherington cannot be caught at the top of the standings and is therefore 'The Boothen Roar Player of the Season 2009/10'
