The Potters scored a late goal, from substitute Ryan Shotton, to take home the three points from the Hawthorns once again. Below is the result of the Man of the Match poll:
1) Asmir Begovic - 27.7% - Made a trio of super saves early on including one marvellous point blank save from in form Long. One goal conceded in 450 minutes this season shows what form he is in
2) Ryan Shotton - 26.6% - Came off the bench and made a difference for the second week running as he worked the defence late on and then chased a lost cause and ended up with the winning goal when h toed the ball past the keeper and walked it in for his first Premier League goal
3) Jonathan Woodgate - 9.6% - Another very good and assured performance at the heart of the defence. Had an iffy start but was faultless in the final 60 minutes or so
