City produced a brilliant, spirited display to keep out Liverpool and hold onto the lead given to them by Jon Walters 21st minute penalty. Below is the results of the MotM poll.
1) Asmir Begovic - 27.5% - Produced some absolutely brilliant saves duting a mad 10 second period when he saved three times aswell as his centre halves blocking two efforts themselves. Showed great handling aswell...until 95th minute fumble.
2) Ryan Shawcross - 25.5% - Defender was fantastic, throwing himself at every shot coming in and jockeying the opposition before picking his time to take the ball. Some great tackles, both standing and sliding, denied the visitors again and again
3) Matthew Upson - 18.3% - Ditto Shawcross. Awesome committed display that showed City fans the player who was so highly regarded a few years back
