Stoke recorded their third straight 1-0 win in European competition, thanks to a Danny Pugh goal, to set up this weeks return leg at the Britannia Stadium. Heres who you voted MOTM:
1) Jon Walters - 41.4% - Worked tirelessly up front, chasing many a lost cause and working the home defence all night. It was his break that brought about the foul by the home keeper that saw him red carded late on. He was also denied in the dying seconds after going through one on one.
2) Matthew Upson - 14.3% - Defender was like a rock on denbut. Allayed fears about his signing and showed his true class to lead the defence
3) Danny Pugh - 12.9% - Played in the middle and gave an all action display that culminated in him bagging the games only goal with a well timed twenty yard effort in the first half.
