The Potters host Everton this Saturday in a game that sees two sides playing for pride at the end of season.

Stoke sit 11th in the Premier League and hope to round off their home campaign with a win and help their quest to finish in the top half. Everton have fired up the table after a bad start and have been one of the form sides of 2010.

Stoke have an average home record this season and have already beaten Arsenal aswell as Manchester City, Blackburn, Burnley, West Ham, Sunderland, Fulham, Hull and Portsmouth but have lost to Manchester United, Birmingham, Arsenal and Chelsea, Bolton and Spurs. Everton have had a decent  season on the road and have five victories at West Ham, Portsmouth, Wigan, Blackburn and Manchester City.

In the 59 matches between these sides at Stoke, the Potters have won 22, the visitors 20 and seventeen have been drawn. Last season when the pair clashed at the Britannia the game ended 3-2 to Everton. Overall Everton have won 57 times to the Potters 29. Everton won the last time they visited before last season, winning 1-0 in an FA Cup clash in January 2001, but it was their first away win at Stoke since 1964.

The referee is Howard Webb. He took charge as Stoke lost 2-0 at home to Manchester United, aswell as three away draws, goalless encounters against Blackburn and Sunderland as well as 1-1 draw at Burnley. He has refereed Everton four times this season, a 2-0 home win against Burnley a 3-1 home win against Manchester United aswell as a 2-2 home draw with West Ham and a 2-1 home defeat versus Birmingham.

The Met Office report that there will be light rain, temperatures of a comfortable 12 degrees celsius, very good visibility and a breezy 16mph wind.

Prediction: Stoke get straight into the Toffee's and take an early lead through Ricardo Fuller. A second from Robert Huth follows before half time. Arteta pulls a goal back before Moult secures the points late on.
