Last updated : 26 February 2011 By Dan Buxton

The Potters welcome West Brom to the Britannia Stadium in Monday's big Premier League game.

Stoke sit 11th in the Premier League but if they avoid defeat will move back into the top half. The visitors are struggling at the bottom end of the league and are in the bottom three after Saturdays results.

Stoke have a good home record this season and have already beaten  ten sides at the Brit, but have four defeats. The Baggies have won twice away from home in the league this season but have lost nine times away aswell.

In the 63 matches between these sides at Stoke, the Potters have won 35, the visitors 9 and nineteen have been drawn. Last time the pair clashed at the Britannia Stadium, in November 2008, the game ended in a 1-0 home win. Overall West Brom have won 41 times to the Potters 56 victories although since 1988 there have been 27 league meetings between the sides and West Brom have won just one, and City have won the last four, scoring nine and conceding just one.

The referee is Michael Oliver. He reffed Stoke in their 2-0 home win against Bolton this season. He has refereed West Brom twice this season, in their 3-2 away win at Arsenal and 2-1 away defeat at Blackpool when he dismissed two Baggies players early on.

The Met Office report that there will be clear skies, temperatures of a freezing 0 degrees celsius, moderate visibility and a light 4mph wind.

Prediction: The Potters strike early through Carew and then wrap up their victory thanks to second half strikes from Huth and Jones.
