Last updated : 01 April 2011 By Dan Buxton

The Potters welcome Chelsea to the Britannia Stadium in Saturdays big Premier League game.

Stoke sit 10th in the Premier League and if they upset the odds to win will move to within a point of the magic 40 barrier. The visitors are sitting seventeen points better off than Stoke in the league and are seven places higher in the top half.

Stoke have a very good home record this season and have already beaten twelve sides at the Brit, but have four defeats. The Londoners have won six times away from home in the league this season but have lost five times away aswell.

In the 42 matches between these sides at Stoke, the Potters have won 18, the visitors 16 and eight have been drawn. Last season when the pair clashed at the Britannia Stadium, in September 2009, Florent Malouda's 97th minute free kick sealed a 2-1 win for Chelsea. Overall Chelsea have won 38 times to the Potters 27 victories.

The referee is Peter Walton. He reffed Stoke in their 1-1 home draw against Manchester City, 2-0 away win at Cardiff, 2-1 defeat away at Bolton and 1-0 defeat away at Arsenal, all this season. He has refereed Chelsea once this season, in their 2-1 away win against Blackburn.

The Met Office report that there will be medium level cloud, temperatures of a warm 16 degrees celsius, very good visibility but a strong 23mph wind, with gusts of 43mph.

Prediction: City strike early on through Kenwyne Jones before Frank Lampard equalises from the spot just before half time. A ding dong second half see's Nicolas Anelka give the visitors a late lead before a last gasp header from Robert Huth seals a point for City
