The Potters travel to Cardiff tonight in their FA Cup 3rd round replay with Stoke hoping to avoid a giantkilling.

Stoke sit 8th in the Premier League and face a Cardiff side who are second in the Championship but out of form of late.

Stoke have a decent away record this season and have already beaten three Premier League sides away from home but have six defeats. Cardiff have seven wins and two defeats in twelve league home games so far in 2010/11.

In the 22 matches between these sides at Stoke, the Potters have won 7, the hosts 9 and three have been drawn. Last time the pair clashed at the Brit the game ended in a 2-1 home win. Overall Cardiff have won 15 times to the Potters 19 victories, although the Bluebirds haven't won any of the last 5 encounters between the two sides.

The Met Office report that it will be foggy, temperatures of a chilly 3 degrees celsius, very poor visibility and a 5mph wind

Prediction: City make a few changes and progress thanks to a gola in each half, firstly from Glenn Whelan and then from Ricardo Fuller
