Both sides have been through rough spells lately but both have also seen their form pick up of late, how do you think the game will go?
I think that despite recent form it will be similar to the last few games at the Britania between the two teams. Stoke have a high tempo up and at em approach at home which is pretty effective. The match also follows an international break so I see it as an obvious banana skin.
What style of performance will Chelsea aim for?
I think that they should try and make it hard for Stoke to break them down by competing for every ball and keeping possession. However recent performances have involved periods of slack play where we concede too much possession too easily.
Although he has yet to find the net for the Blues what is the initial impression of Fernando Torres in a Chelsea shirt?
I think that he is finding his feet still but improving game by game after a slow start. Personally there is no way I would have started him against Liverpool or Fulham. Perhaps brought him on if the game was going well or we needed to change shape.
If you could pick one Stoke player for your team, who would you choose?
Although I think he can be a bit rash Shawcross can be a decent defender and could learn from people like John Terry and Alex re positioning and timing. Either that or Etherington-we still don't have a consistent wide man.
If you could give one of your players to Stoke, who would it be?
Sorry guys I like all our squad but if it can be a loan deal I would say Jeffery Bruma so he can toughen up to go with his technique and positioning.
Score Prediction?
We have been fortunate at Stoke in recent years and this season seems to be payback year and we still aren't quite playing well. So I think 1-1 (I actually fear worse but hope not)perhaps due to Luis getting caught out so the press can pick some more holes!!
