Oppositions view: Chelsea

Last updated : 10 September 2009 By Dan Buxton
You've started the season with a 100% record, whilst we have two wins from two at home. Are you a little worried or do you think you will be able to beat us comfortably?

Well something has to give then, eh?

This is going to be one really tough match - . tactically and physically.
We will have much more possession than your boys and will have to be patient. We should create more chances  so it's going to be decided on how well you defend.
Set-pieces are still Chelsea's Achille's heel, so you might get some joy there.
Chelsea should win, but a draw might not be a bad result come the end of the season.

You, like ourselves, have been known to be a big, physical side, is this still true or has your style changed under Ancelotti?

Chelsea have not changed at all since Ancelotti - not even much since Scolari, to be honest. Because we have the same players since last year, the physical side of the team remains. But there is a better sense of playing the game for the full 90 minutes. The players realise that if they don't score within 10 minutes, then there is no need to panic and throw their weight around.

International week has seen players jetting all over the world. Has anybody come back injured? Do you think this could have an impact on how the game goes?

As far as I know all present and correct, but at time of writing some players are yet to reappear at the training ground from their travels - so it's a tough one to be certain.
The English boys are fine, that I know. So provided the core 11 are fit, there should not be a problem. I hope your lot are all injured!

Are there any Potters players you think possess a danger?

Well I notice Peter Reid has being signed - shame it's not as a player!
I hope Robert Huth plays, he will be out to make some sort of statement. Watch out for his free-kicks, they are dynamite if he gets them right.
You have players, who on their day can cause serious problems - Ricardo Fuller obviously for his power. But I like Liam Lawrence - but I like his dog better.

Who should we be looking out for in blue?

Sorry to say but anyone in Blue can be a danger.
The usual suspect from Drogba to Terry.

...and finally, a prediction?

I'd be Potty not to say an away win for the Blues - 2-0.
