What style of performance will Blackpool aim for
Same as usual. High energy, attack at every opportunity, lots of movement in a fluid 4-3-3, full backs getting high up the pitch, Evatt and Cathcart solid at the back. Got to worry about the throw-ins and set balls into the box, cos it's new and our keeper is new and African and not played in the Prem much. And The last 15 minutes or so are generally pretty horrible as the players get nervous and we tend to concede
How did Blackpool fans approach this season, was it 'enjoy it and see what happens' or 'survival is key' and has the good start seen a change in expectations
Definitely looked to enjoy the season as much as possible and didn't expect it to happen very often. Just wanted us to acquit ourselves as a decent side and do better than Derby! And build the facilities and the squad and return to the Championship a much stronger outfit! Expectations have changed, yes. I believe we still face a massive battle to stay up, but it's a distinct possibility now. Last time out we outplayed Bolton at the Reebok for the majority of the game in the month Coyle won MOTM
If you could pick one Stoke player for your team?
Fuller or Jones, especially with Harewood out injured. Edit - Forgot Etherington, great player, would fit our system brilliantly (though we have Varney in great form on the left).
