Opposition's View - Wolves (A)

What style will Wolves aim for?

We play a 4-5-1 formation, which was working well before the international break and before Kevin Doyle's injury. Since then the manager has been making some pretty dire choices of team selection and subs which has meant that we have not carried this form through. After conceding 7 goals in 2 games and then throwing away a vital win against Fulham i would go for a winning style.

How big a loss is Kevin Doyle to the Wolves frontline? Is Ebanks-Blake up to the job of replacing the Irishman?

Kevin Doyle is a massive loss as he holds the ball up and runs tirelessly for the team. Steven Fletcher was preferred to Blake against Fulham to carry on that role and performed well getting a goal.

Is this a 'must-win' game for Wolves or are there enough points to be won in the other games left for Wanderers this season?

YES!! our game in hand on the other teams around us and a win will take us out the bottom 3- also this time of the season form counts for a lot and if we can get a win and get on a run maybe that can help us out of the zone.

If you could choose one Stoke player for your side?

I say this everything but nothing has changed Shawcross as our centre backs are poor. We had to recall a 35 year old centre back into the side as Berra and Stearman had been making to many stupid mistakes.

If you could give Stoke one of your players?
Have them all if you want? thought not.

Prediction?

I am going to use the last bit of positive energy in me and hope a tuesday night at a local rival away and the need for points will inspire them and say a 2-1 Wolves win.
